Junior Kindergarten and Before & After School Care

Junior Kindergarten (3 – 5 years)

Ages 3-5 years from 9am to 1pm (must turn at least 3 by December 31st of the year in which they start). 

Our JK program is a half-day program consisting of activities such as phonics lessons, fine and gross motor development, circle time – in which we deliver our curriculum consisting of language, literacy, science and math activities. We also enjoy fun-filled songs, stories, music and movement and outdoor fun! 

Our rates are as follows:
$420/month for our 3-day program for 4-year-olds (Mon/Wed/Fri)
$360/month for our 2-day program for 3-year-olds (Tues/Thurs)
 
Junior Kindergarten operates from September to June each year. This is a two-year program that commences in the September of the year in which the child turns 3. This program is closed for winter break, spring break, summer break and professional development days (in line with the school district). Snacks and meals are not included in this program.

before & after school program 

Program operates from 7:30am until 9:00am and 2:30pm until 5:30pm on regular school days. Children must be at the centre by 8 am as we depart at 8:10 am. 

Children are involved in monthly theme-based activities, including art and crafts, outdoor playtime, games, movie and treat days, spirit days, and so much more!

Our Spring and Summer programs operate Monday to Friday between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm for up to a maximum of 9 hours per day. Additional rates apply if the 9-hour per day maximum is exceeded. 

Healthy, nut-free meals and snacks must be brought from home as well as lunch.

Typical schedule is:

* Hang Backpack and wash hands

* Sit down for sharing time (children share any news they want to, and staff hare what activities we will be doing)

* Snack Time

* Planned Activity Time

* Free Time: Indoor play or schoolwork or reading

* Outside Time – typically, students start getting picked up

* Free Time: Indoor play or schoolwork or reading
