Our centre observes closures on the following days

  • New Year’s Day

  • Family Day

  • Good Friday

  • Easter Monday

  • Victoria Day

  • Canada Day

  • B.C Day

  • Labour Day

  • The National Day for Truth & Reconciliation

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Remembrance Day

  • Christmas Day

  • Boxing Day

*In the event that a statutory holiday falls on a weekend, our closure will be observed on the following Monday.

WINTER BREAK

Annually, we are closed for the last two weeks of December or the last week of December and the first week of January, aligning with the school district in our community. Please refer to our calendar for the specific dates

OTHER CLOSURES

Our centres are closed as a result of inclement weather conditions or power failures (School District instructions regarding closures and independent decisions based on safety factors). We require parents or an alternate emergency contact to pick up children immediately as we cannot operate safely without heat or light.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

To ensure our teachers stay current on early learning education and our proprietary programs, we proudly provide them with training and development opportunities. The center is closed for two days of training each year in February and November. Exact dates can be found on our calendar.

Junior Kindergarten only

Our calendar is aligned with the school district. In addition to the closures mentioned above for all programs, we are also closed on School District Pro-D Days, Spring Break, and for two weeks during Summer Break. Please refer to our calendar for specific dates.
